teen room rental policy

Parents: Please note that if your child damages library property, they will be charged for damages and your child will be banned from teen room privileges and the library, depending on the violation.

  • Teens must be within the age limitations in order to use the room (12–18).
  • Teens must sign up at the circulation desk. Information must be complete.
  • To use TV or Xbox, remotes are located at the circulation desk. These items must be returned at the end of each use by the teen/tween.
  • DVDs can be played but library DVDs must still be checked out by an adult.
  • Food and drinks are allowed.
  • Any disruptive or inappropriate behavior by user(s) will end all teen room privileges and possibly banned from Library.
  • User(s) must clean up after themselves or they will lose teen room privileges.
  • The door must be kept open at all times unless otherwise directed by library staff (to watch movies/play Xbox).
  • The TV volume must be kept at low volume.
  • No Xbox games are available in the library, if user(s) wish to bring their own, this is possible.
  • Any items left in the room will be brought to our lost and found.
