Fun events for the whole family at the Patmos Library!

Perfect for all ages, this FREE event will feature multiple rounds of bingo, exciting prizes, and plenty of chances to make fun memories together. Whether you’re a bingo expert or playing for the first time, everyone is welcome to join in the fun! Space is limited, so registration is encouraged to secure your spots, which you can do on our Eventbright page online.
Ruff Readers is a group of volunteers who bring in trained dogs for kids to read to!! This will be a first come first serve sign up the day of the event. There will be 12 time slots for each date offered between 11am and noon. Ruff Readers will be at the library on June 13 & 20, and July 11 & 25.
Come kick off the summer with us! Sign up for the Summer Reading Program and enjoy fun activities while you are here! The Summer Reading Kick Off Party takes place on Saturday, June 6th from 10am to 1pm.
Get messy, get creative, and express yourself!! Join us on July 7th and celebrate the bold, colorful style of artist Jackson Pollock. Create your own one-of-a-kind masterpiece using drips, splatters, and lots of imagination! There will be 2 age groups: 9 – 14, and 14 – 17. Space is limited, and registration is required. We’re bringing back our fast-paced, action-packed Tween Olympic Games—with a prehistoric twist! Participants will compete in a variety of brand-new, silly, and exciting challenges designed to get everyone moving, laughing, and working together. Spots are limited, so be sure to sign up in advance to secure your place in the games! You can do so by visiting our Eventbrite page.
Grab your friends and put your problem-solving skills to the test at the Teen Escape Room at Patmos Library! This exciting, interactive experience will challenge you to work as a team, uncover hidden clues, and solve puzzles before time runs out. Each group will enter the escape room during their scheduled time slot and race against the clock to complete the challenge. Communication, creativity, and teamwork will be key—so bring your best thinkers! Spots are limited, so be sure to register early to secure your preferred time! Bring the whole family to this fun, hands-on garden craft event at Patmos Library! Families will work together to design and decorate a unique garden stone to take home and enjoy for years to come. Get ready for a night of hilariously awful creativity at Bad Art Night! Teens ages 11–18 are invited to create the worst masterpiece possible using mystery supplies, silly prompts, and absolutely zero artistic pressure. Whether your art turns out weird, messy, or completely confusing—that’s the goal! Join us for another Pop & Paint for teens event at the Patmos Library! Supplies are all included – just bring your creativity! Register for Pop & Paint For Teens On Eventbrite.
Join us at Patmos Library for a fun, hands-on craft where kids and teens can personalize a hat with a variety of patches and designs. Whether you want something bold and colorful or simple and stylish, this is your chance to make a one-of-a-kind accessory to take home! this program is FREE, but space is limited to 20 participants per age group. Join us every 3rd Monday of each month for our book club. We meet at 6pm, and refreshments are provided. Come read with us! Book club will take a break during the summer months and resume again in September.
Join us for Indoor Walk and Groove every Tuesday at 11:30am for 4 weeks starting May 5th and running through May 26th. Each class is $5 and is instructed by Kimberly VanDerWiele. Registration is required!

Get ready to get colorful at our Tie Dye Craft Day at Patmos Library! Participants will have the chance to create their very own tie dye project using bright colors and fun designs. Choose between tie dyeing a drawstring backpack or a bandana and make something unique to take home! Participants may choose ONE item to tie dye: a drawstring backpack, or a bandana. - This offer is only valid for ONE DAY admission for up to 6 people.
- You will be limited to 1 pass per year.
- Must be returned one day from check out.
- There will be a $25 fine for late/non-returned passes.
- Library account must be in good standing.
- Passes are available on a first-come, first-served basis and cannot be placed on hold.
Patmos Book Club
