Welcome To Patmos Library

Jamestown, MI

📢 Library Update – 2/3/26 📢

It’s only the first week of February, and 2026 has already been a wild ride! While it’s come in with a bang, the staff at Patmos Library are staying positive and are grateful to be here serving you.

In the spirit of transparency, we wanted to share a quick update: we were informed this morning of damage inside the back wall of our adult fiction/non-fiction section, which means construction to fix the damage caused by the pipe bursting in our ceiling will continue until further notice.

We apologize for any inconvenience and truly appreciate your patience and understanding. 💙

Fun events for the whole family at the Patmos Library!

Get ready to dive into some fun paper piecing at the Patmos Library! Join us on Monday March 23rd from 2pm to 5pm for an English Paper Piecing class! English Paper Piecing is popular for the accuracy and flexibility it gives us in creating. Using pre-cut papers, we will baste on fabrics, then learn to stitch them together by hand stitching. Instructions will be given to create a puzzle ball or bowl made from hexagon shapes - the most common used in English Paper Piecing. The class will be led by Betsy Carlson, owner of the Nine Patch Sewing Co. This event is limited to 15 people and registration is required! ** Please note: You MUST bring your own fabric scissors - all other supplies are provided!
