Celebrate America’s 250th birthday with Patmos Library at our Family Picnic! Bring the whole family for an afternoon of fun featuring yard games, a bounce house, face painting, crafts, and more. We’ll also have delicious food available from the Sweet Racks and Smokin’ Butts BBQ truck. Join us on Thursday, July 2, from 1:00–4:00 p.m. as we celebrate our nation’s milestone birthday together. Grab your friends and put your problem-solving skills to the test at the Teen Escape Room at Patmos Library! This exciting, interactive experience will challenge you to work as a team, uncover hidden clues, and solve puzzles before time runs out. Each group will enter the escape room during their scheduled time slot and race against the clock to complete the challenge. Communication, creativity, and teamwork will be key—so bring your best thinkers! Spots are limited, so be sure to register early to secure your preferred time! You may do so by registering on our Eventbrite page.
Get ready for a night of hilariously awful creativity at Bad Art Night! Teens ages 11–18 are invited to create the worst masterpiece possible using mystery supplies, silly prompts, and absolutely zero artistic pressure. Whether your art turns out weird, messy, or completely confusing—that’s the goal! Join us for laughs, chaos, and possibly fake awards on Monday, July 20 from 6–8 p.m. You can register for this event by visiting our Eventbrite page.
Get ready to get colorful at our Tie Dye Craft Day at Patmos Library! Participants will have the chance to create their very own tie dye project using bright colors and fun designs. Choose between tie dyeing a drawstring backpack or a bandana and make something unique to take home! Participants may choose ONE item to tie dye: a drawstring backpack, or a bandana. This event is FREE, but space is limited to 20 participants per age group. Registration is required to reserve your spot – please sign up on our Eventbrite page.
